Despite my ambivalence over paraclimbing comps (mainly because I find top-roping boring, and much prefer climbing outside than pulling on plastic), I was pleased to defend my title as U.S. Paraclimbing Champion. I was the top-placing female in my category, as well as all female categories. I also placed in the top-3 in all categories for Men and Women.

Funnily enough, I did not really peak for this comp. My peak came in the subsequent weeks/months; and I am actually climbing much better now (as of the day after Thanksgiving), even on lead, than I did at the competition. Not sure how to improve my timing with that next year.
